Govt to help families of ten Donbas war victims, 26 soldiers with disabilities

The Cabinet of Ministers will pay one-off assistance to the families of ten servicemen killed in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in Donbas and 26 military who received disabilities as a result of participation in the ATO.

A respective government resolution of April 1 has been published on the government website.

"To allocate UAH 26,519,600 to the Ministry for Veterans for providing one-off financial assistance to the families of ten persons who died during participation in the anti-terrorist operation and to 26 persons who became disabled due to a wound, concussion, mutilation or illness sustained during the participation in the said operation," the document reads.

The government also instructed the Finance Ministry to transfer these expenditures from the reserve fund of the state budget.
