Invaders intensify activity of snipers and sabotage groups in Donbas – intelligence
Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Maksym Prauta said this at a briefing on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"According to our intelligence officers, in March, the invaders increased the use of reconnaissance and sabotage groups and sniper pairs, staffed by Russian regular servicemen, who arrived from the formations and units of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces," the spokesman said.
According to him, the invaders tighten their forward positions with artillery and mortar units and anti-tank missile systems.
Prauta noted that the Ukrainian military remain at their positions, equipping them and are ready to respond with aimed fire to any armed provocations of the enemy and force them to observe the ceasefire.
