Since the beginning of the day, the Russian-occupation troops have opened fire five times. Ukrainian troops sustained losses.

"From 09:30, three attacks have been launched on our soldiers who defend the approaches to Pisky [11km north-west of Donetsk]. At this section of the front, Russian-occupation troops used anti-tank missile system, hand-held anti-tank and automatic mounted grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms. According to the preliminary information as of 12:30, one member of the Joint Forces was killed, four more were wounded. The enemy's losses are being specified," Ukraine’s Defense Ministry Spokesman Maksym Prauta said at a briefing on March 10.

The invaders continue shelling at the moment, and the Ukrainian units return fire actively, he added.

In addition, he said, Russian-occupation troops build up the engineering equipment of combat positions along the contact line and deep into the temporarily occupied territory in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

At the same time, the works are carried out to mask the combat positions of tanks, artillery systems, including the MLRS, which are ready for immediate use in the areas near the contact line at the distances smaller than those specified in the Minsk agreements’ provisions on heavy weapons withdrawal.
