OSCE drone spots 300 mines laid by invaders near Verkhnoshyrokivske in Donbas

Militants of the armed formations of the Russian Federation laid at least 300 probable anti-tank mines near Verkhnoshyrokivske in Donetsk region.

The OSCE SMM said this in a report issued on February 3, based on information from the monitoring teams received as of 19:30 on February 2, 2020.

“On January 31, a mid-range UAV spotted for the first time at least 300 probable anti-tank mines laid in three rows running from north to south for about 700m, about 650m west of Verkhnoshyrokivske (not seen on imagery from September 12, 2019),” the report says.

It again spotted at least 100 anti-tank mines about 3.5km north of Verkhnoshyrokivske and about 200 anti-tank mines laid in two rows about 1.7km further west.

All of the aforesaid mines were assessed as belonging to the armed formations.
