Invaders restricted SMM’s freedom of movement in Donbas over 90 times in January

The press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reported this with reference to the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC).

"Since the beginning of 2020, the OSCE SMM representatives have recorded more than 90 cases of restrictions of the SMM’s freedom of movement in Donbas by the armed formations of the Russian Federation," the statement reads.

Most cases were recorded at a checkpoint of the armed formations near Verkhnoshyrokivske (22 times) and Zaichenko (17 times).

"In a daily report dated January 31, 2020, the OSCE informs about another denial of the SMM passage at a checkpoint in non-government-controlled Zaichenko. At a checkpoint west of Verkhnoshyrokivske (formerly Oktiabr, non-government-controlled, 85km south of Donetsk), an armed member of the armed formations allowed the SMM passage after about 20 minutes of waiting," the report says.
