The Ukrainian side has already determined three additional sites for disengagement of troops in Donbas.

“Also, the President of Ukraine expressed concern about the failure to comply with the agreements on ensuring a real regime of comprehensive ceasefire in Donbas. According to the Head of State, the Ukrainian side will actively work at the next consultations of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk on January 16 to promote additional measures for a complete and comprehensive ceasefire,” the press service of the President of Ukraine reports following the telephone conversation between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Volodymyr Zelensky informed that the Ukrainian side had already determined the list of three additional sites for disengagement of troops and military equipment.

“It is very important for us that these are humanitarian areas. This is important for people,” he stressed.

In addition, the President expressed concern about the non-admission of representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross to illegally detained persons in the territories beyond government control.

On October 29, 2019, the reciprocal disengagement of forces and hardware at the site No.2 near Zolote-4 locality in Luhansk region was completed.
