OSCE reports on ceasefire violations in Donbas

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine recorded fewer ceasefire violations in both Donetsk and Luhansk regions, compared with the previous reporting period.

The OSCE SMM informed this in a report, based on information received as of 19:30, November 28, 2019.

"In Donetsk region, the SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations, including fewer explosions (about 30), compared with the previous reporting period (about 80 explosions)," the report says.

The majority of ceasefire violations were recorded in areas west of Svitlodarsk (government-controlled, 57km north-east of Donetsk), including about ten explosions of artillery rounds, as well as in areas south-west of Yasynuvata (non-government-controlled, 16km north-east of Donetsk) and south-west of the Donetsk Filtration Station (DFS) (15km north of Donetsk).

"In Luhansk region, the Mission recorded fewer ceasefire violations, including fewer explosions (six), compared with the previous reporting period (13 explosions)," the report notes.

All ceasefire violations were recorded in areas east-south-east and south-east of Popasna (government-controlled, 69km west of Luhansk).
