President: State budget for 2020 should provide adequate funding for the military

As the press service of the Head of State reports, Zelensky watched the military shooting practice with the participation of the members of the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The President also inspected the equipment of the National Police of Ukraine and the military equipment, special equipment, armaments of the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service.

“The Head of State praised the fact that the majority of the demonstrated equipment is of Ukrainian production. He noted the high level of professional training of the units and stated that the next year's state budget should provide adequate funding for the military,” the statement reads.

As noted, the President also watched the special training of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and got acquainted with the Service’s equipment.

Zelensky expressed hope that the skills demonstrated by the units would be applied in emergency management in all regions of Ukraine.
