Sixty-eight Russians brought to justice for involvement in war against Ukraine

As of today, 110 people have been brought to justice for unleashing and conducting aggressive war against Ukraine as well as aiding and abetting.

"110 persons, including 68 citizens of the Russian Federation, namely 21 high-ranking officials (the minister of defense, two his deputies, the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and his first deputy, adviser to the president of the Russian Federation, former Russian presidential commissioner in the “Crimean Federal District”), 18 generals and admirals from the high command of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the chairman and 18 judges of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation have been prosecuted for unleashing and conducting the aggressive war against Ukraine as well as aiding and abetting," the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine reports.

Based on the results of the pre-trial investigation into the criminal proceedings of this category, 48 indictments against 51 persons, including 22 citizens of the Russian Federation, have been already submitted to the court.

"Thirty-four people have been already sentenced. Twelve of them are the citizens of the Russian Federation. The other 59 persons (46 citizens of the Russian Federation) have been put on the wanted list. The court has granted permission to detain them," the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine informed.
