Russian-led forces launch 13 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas

On August 16, the armed formations of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated ceasefire in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas 12 times. One attack more was launched at night.
“The enemy used grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian positions,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.
In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, the Russian-led troops launched nine attacks on Ukrainian positions. Another three attacks were launched in the zone of action of tactical force “North.”
No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported over the past day.
Today, the enemy has opened fire once in the zone of action of tactical force “East.”
