Ukraine's government to allocate UAH 18.6 mln to families of ATO victims

The Cabinet of Ministers will allocate UAH 18.6 million as one-time assistance to the victims of Ukrainian servicemen killed or wounded during the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in Donbas, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine has reported.

"On August 14, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to pay UAH 18.6 million as one-time financial assistance to the families of persons who died during their participation in the anti-terrorist operation, as well as to persons who became disabled as a result of a wound, contusion, injury or illness sustained during their participation in the anti-terrorist operation," the report reads.

The ministry noted that UAH 13 million as one-off assistance would be directed to family members of 11 people killed in the ATO and UAH 5.6 million to 11 persons wounded in the ATO.

The funds will be sent to the Social Policy Ministry from the reserve fund of the state budget.
