President orders allocation of apartments to families of soldiers killed near Pavlopil

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has ordered the allocation of apartments to the families of servicemen who were killed in enemy shelling near Pavlopil, Donetsk region, on August 6.

The head of state gave a respective instruction at a meeting with the military leadership on the situation in eastern Ukraine on Wednesday, August 7, the presidential press service reported.

"The meeting participants discussed, in particular, the shelling that, despite the declared 'harvest ceasefire,' occurred near Pavlopil on August 6. Four Ukrainian soldiers were killed. The head of state ordered the allocation of apartments to the families of the deceased," the report reads.

According to the press service, at the meeting, the military reported on the situation in the conflict zone and on the border and discussed further steps.

Four Ukrainian servicemen were killed near Pavlopil on August 6 after Russian occupation troops shelled Ukrainian positions.

Zelensky called on the leaders of the Normandy Format countries to resume negotiations as soon as possible due to the violation of the ceasefire by Russian occupation troops and the deaths of four Ukrainian soldiers.
