NSDC secretary, Indian ambassador discuss cooperation in security and defense

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Danyliuk held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Ukraine Partha Satpathy, the NSDC press service has reported.
"During the meeting, the parties discussed the state of cooperation in the security and defense sector and the prospects for its further intensification," the report reads.
According to the NSDC secretary, to boost cooperation at the strategic level, it is urgent to ensure the operational exchange of information between Ukraine and India on security issues.
The Indian ambassador emphasized the importance of Ukraine as India's strategic partner in the field of military-technical cooperation, in particular, the production and supply of gas turbine engines for ships and joint projects in aircraft construction.
The ambassador also reaffirmed the sustained support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
