Russian-led forces launched 18 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

The armed formations of the Russian Federation violated ceasefire 18 times, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements five times, in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy fired 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms on the units of the Joint Forces,” the press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, Russian-led forces opened fire from automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms on Ukrainian positions near Pavlopol (25km north-west of Mariupol); mounted antitank grenade launcher – outside Marinka (23km south-west of Donetsk) and Novoselivka Druha (36km north-east of Mariupol); 120mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems and small arms – in the area of Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk); small arms – outside Berezove (31km south-west of Donetsk); mounted antitank grenade launcher, anti-aircraft mount and small arms – near Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol); automatic grenade launcher, heavy machine gun and small arms – outside Pyshchevyk (25km north-east of Mariupol); grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms – in the area of Hnutove (20km north-east of Mariupol).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy used small arms to shell Ukrainian troops near Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk); grenade launchers of different systems and heavy machine guns – outside Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk); 120mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers, and heavy machine guns – in the area of Travneve (51km north-east of Donetsk); 82mm mortars – near Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk); 120mm mortars – outside Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk); 120mm mortars and automatic grenade launchers – in the area of Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk).

Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded, another one was injured.

Today, no enemy attacks have been launched.
