Ukraine tests Vilkha-M and Vilkha-R missiles

"Ukrainian scientists and production workers continue to perform the tasks of implementation of the missile program, which aims to introduce into service Vilkha-M and Vilkha-R missiles and Neptune mobile cruise missile system by the end of the year. I hope that, despite personnel changes in Ukraine’s security and defense sector, the missile projects will be carried out according to an approved plan, and the efforts to strengthen the defense capacity of our state will not cease,” former secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov wrote on Facebook.

He informed that the tests would last until the end of the week, and the launch of cruise missiles of the Neptune mobile system was also expected to be held.
