Russian-led forces fire 120mm mortars in Donbas, no casualties reported
“The enemy used 82mm and 120mm mortars, weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, antitank missile systems, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms to launch attacks on Ukrainian defenders,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.
In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, Russian-led forces opened fire from 82mm and 120mm mortars on Ukrainian troops near Pavlopol (25km north-west of Mariupol); 120mm mortars – outside Marinka (23km south-west of Donetsk); 82mm mortars, antitank missile systems and mounted antitank grenade launchers – in the area of Mykolaivka (77km west of Luhansk); 82mm mortars, automatic mounted grenade launchers and small arms – near Novotroitske (36km south-west of Donetsk); grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms – outside Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk); grenade launchers of different systems and small arms – near Novoselivka Druha (36km north-east of Mariupol); mounted antitank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns – in the area of Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol); mounted antitank grenade launchers and small arms – outside Talakivka (17km north-east of Mariupol); automatic mounted grenade launchers – in the area of Pisky (11km north-west of Donetsk); heavy machine guns and small arms – near Hnutove (20km north-east of Mariupol).
In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Zolote-4 (59km west of Luhansk); 82mm mortars, automatic mounted grenade launchers and small arms – outside Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk); 82mm mortars – in the area of Novhorodske (35km north of Donetsk); weapons on infantry fighting vehicles and heavy machine guns – near Pishchane (22km north of Luhansk); small arms – outside Shchastia (20km north of Luhansk).
No casualties among Joint Forces members were reported.
Today, the enemy has already opened fire on Ukrainian troops in the zone of action of tactical force “East.”
