Servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will need less than a day to liberate the Russian-occupied part of Ukraine's territory, former Ukrainian Joint Forces Commander Serhiy Nayev has said in an interview with the TSN television news service.

When asked how long it will take to liberate the occupied territories, he said: "It will take very little time for a military operation - less than 24 hours. The main thing in this case is very rapid action so as to get to the Ukrainian border and fortify positions there."

At the same time, when asked whether the invaders are preparing for decisive offensive actions, Nayev said: "The enemy has such plans. We know threatening directions on the contact line, and there are more than ten of such directions. We anticipate action in response - all means are constantly ready to respond in these directions."

According to him, the Ukrainian military also traces the threatening areas of the border with Russia in Luhansk region and the Sea of Azov within the area of the Joint Forces Operation. "In all these directions we are ready to react to the actions of the enemy," the ex-Joint Forces commander said.
