Russian-led forces launch 17 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas. One soldier killed, two wounded

Russian occupation forces 17 times violated ceasefire regime, using ten times weapons banned under the Minsk agreements, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

The enemy used 59 120mm and 82mm mortars into Ukrainian troops. In addition, the Joint Forces units came under armed vehicle, grenade launcher, heavy machine gun and small arms fire. Also, snipers were recorded three times, the JFO press center reports.

In particular, in the zone of action of tactical force ‘East’, Russian-led forces opened fire 12 times, and in the zone of action of tactical force “North,” the Ukrainian troops came under fire five times.

The Joint Forces adequately returned fire in response to the enemy shooting. Four invaders were killed and four were wounded. One unit of military equipment was destroyed.

Today, the illegal armed formations have opened fire three times on the JFO positions, including one attack using the weapons prohibited under the Minsk agreements.

The Joint Forces reliably control the actions of the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire regime.
