NATO countries begin joint exercises in Black Sea

NATO's multi-national Sea Shield 2019 naval drills will be held from April 5 to April 13 in the Black Sea, the press service of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO has reported.

"Fourteen Romanian warships and six warships from Bulgaria, Canada, Greece, the Netherlands and Turkey involving 2,200 troops will carry out joint combat tasks in the Black Sea region," the report reads.
