227 Ukrainian servicepersons get state awards this year

Since the beginning of 2019, 227 Ukrainian servicepersons have received state awards.
"According to the Personnel Policy Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, since the beginning of 2019, as of April 3, 227 Ukrainian servicepersons and employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received state awards and 1,755 more received certificates of appreciation for exemplary and professional fulfillment of duties," Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Hutsuliak said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In addition, according to the spokesperson, more than 257,800 servicepersons have got the status of combat veterans since the beginning of Russian armed aggression.
