Russian-led forces launch seven attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas

Russian occupation forces launched seven attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements four times, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“In the zone of action of tactical force ‘East’, Russian-led forces opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars near Hnutove (20km north-east of Mariupol); under-barrel grenade launchers and small arms - outside Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk); heavy machine guns – in the area of Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol), the JFO Headquarters press centre reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian troops near Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk); heavy machine guns and small arms – near Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk).

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported.

The Joint Forces adequately returned fire in response to the enemy shooting.

According to the intelligence, three invaders were wounded on March 28.

Today, the Russian-led armed formations have not opened fire yet.

The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire regime.
