Groysman: Cabinet of Ministers to continue proper financing of National Guard

"The safety of citizens and the state is our absolute priority, so the Government is closely monitoring the needs of the National Guard units. We will continue to provide funding and material support for the National Guard units at the proper level. The needs of the National Guard members will remain in the focus of the government’s attention as our strategic goal is to create powerful military formations capable of confronting the challenges of the modern world," Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said on the occasion of the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine, the Government portal reports.

According to him, the National Guard is the pride not only of the Ukrainian armed formations but of the Ukrainian people on the whole.

The National Guard members continue to perform military service in Donbas and in the most important and dangerous areas of the country, the Prime Minister stressed.
