Russian-led forces launch three attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas

Russian occupation forces launched three attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements four times, on Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy fired 38 120mm and 82mm mortars into Ukrainian troops. All the attacks were launched in the zone of action of tactical force ‘North’. The enemy used 82mm mortars to fire on Ukrainian positions near Zolote-4 (59km west of Luhansk); 82mm mortars and small arms – in the area of Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk); 120mm and 82mm mortars and weapons on infantry fighting vehicles – outside Popasna (69km west of Luhansk),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports on Facebook.

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported.

According to the intelligence, two militants were annihilated and another one was wounded on March 24.

Today, the Russia-led armed formations have already opened fire twice on the Joint Forces units in the zone of action of tactical force “North”, using sniper rifles near Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and heavy machine guns in the area of Novotoshkivske (53km west of Luhansk).

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in shelling.

The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire regime.
