Russian-led forces launched 11 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

“On February 27, Russian-led forces launched 11 attacks on Ukrainian troops. 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars were used six times, and 44 shells and mortars were fired,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In addition, the Russian occupation forces fired on Ukrainian positions, using anti-tank missile systems, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, small arms and sniper's weapons.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, Russian-led forces used 120mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems and small arms to shell Ukrainian positions near Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk); 82mm mortars and anti-tank missile systems – outside Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol); sniper's weapons - near Hnutove (20km north-east of Mariupol).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy fired 122mm artillery, 82mm mortars and anti-tank missile systems on Ukrainian defenders near Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk); 82mm mortars – outside Zhovte (17km north-west of Luhansk); heavy machine guns and small arms – outside Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk); small arms – outside Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk).

As a result of the shelling, one Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in last day.

According to the intelligence, two invaders were killed and five more were wounded on February 27. A tactical vehicle of the enemy was destroyed.

Today, the enemy has not opened fire yet.

The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire agreements.
