The command of the Ukrainian Air Force has refuted reports of an observation flight performed by a Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft in the area of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) in Donbas, the Air Force's press service has reported.

"Some publications are spreading reports on the Internet that a Tu-95 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces allegedly flied in Ukraine's airspace in the JFO area on February 15, 2019. Having verified the above information, we declare that they are not true," the report says.

It notes that the regular air defense forces of the Ukrainian Air Force are on combat duty every day and are ready to respond quickly and in a timely manner to any act of aggression from the air.
