Militants violated ceasefire in Donbas five times in last day

Militants launched five attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements twice, on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

”The enemy fired 82mm mortars, heavy machine guns and small arms on Ukrainian positions near Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk),” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of the tactical force “North”, militants used grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms outside Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk). In addition, the enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk).

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported over the past day.

According to the intelligence, two invaders were killed and another two were wounded on February 1.

Today, the enemy has not opened fire yet.
