Ukrainian army got nearly 5,000 units of weapons and equipment from State Concern ‘Ukroboronprom’ last year

In 2018, the State Concern “Ukroboronprom”, an association of multi-product enterprises in various sectors of Ukrainian defense industry, handed over more than 4,900 units of new, modernized and repaired weapons and military equipment to the Ukrainian army.

 “The Ukrainian army received more than 4,900 units of new, modernized and repaired weapons and military equipment from the State Concern ‘Ukroboronprom’ in 2018. Thanks to the new equipment, our troops have learnt to hit the target without losing shells or time,” President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko posted on Facebook.

The President also assured that "the pace of providing the army with weapons and equipment will not slow down and there is still enough work ahead for the Ukrainian army to get stronger every day."
