Militants launched six attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day and continued to use weapons banned under the Minsk agreements.

“Militants used 82mm mortars to shell the positions of the joint forces near Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk), and provocative small arms fire was detected outside Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk),” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

Ukrainian troops near Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol) came under grenade launcher, small arms and heavy machine gun fire.

One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in last day.

Today, Russian-occupation troops have already shelled JFO positions near Taramchuk (30km south-west of Donetsk), using heavy machine guns. No casualties have been reported.
