Militants launched 14 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

The situation in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day remained quite controlled by the Joint Forces.

“Militants launched 14 attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements four times, on Ukrainian troops over the past day. The enemy used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian positions outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Stepne (29km south-west of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Slavne (25km south-west of Donetsk), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol),” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

Militants used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian strongholds near Krymske and 120mm mortars - outside Pisky.

Two servicemen of the Joint Forces were wounded in last day.

According to the intelligence, three militants were killed and three more were wounded on December 3.

No enemy attacks have been reported today.
