Militants launched seven attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

The situation in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine was absolutely controlled by the joint forces over the past day.

“Militants launched seven attacks on Ukrainian positions. All the ceasefire violations took place after dark. The enemy shelled the JFO strongholds outside Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Novomykhailivka (28km south-west of Donetsk), Slavne (25km south-west of Donetsk), Taramchuk (30km south-west of Donetsk) and Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol). Heavy weapons were not used,” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

The invaders used grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near Taramchuk. In addition, the armed formations of the Russian Federation committed another provocation near Stanytsia Luhanska to hinder the disengagement of forces and equipment – the enemy fired heavy machine guns.

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported over the past day.

According to the intelligence, three militants were killed and five more wounded over the past day.

Today, the enemy has shelled Ukrainian strongholds outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), using 82mm mortars.
