State Border Guard Service reinforces security of state borders

Chairman of the State Border Service Petro Tsyhykal has announced about the transition to an enhanced border guard regime and proposed restricting the entry of certain categories of Russian citizens into Ukraine.
He stated this at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“In the current situation, I’m planning the transition to an enhanced security regime of border and defense,” said Tsyhykal.
He also noted that checkpoints for citizens of Ukraine will work without restrictions. At the same time, Tsyhykal said that “for certain categories of citizens of the Russian Federation,” the entry to the territory of Ukraine should be limited.
