Russian-backed militants launched eight attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day. Heavy weapons were not used.
“Over the past day, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions outside Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk) and Taramchuk (30km south-west of Donetsk),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.
Russian-occupation troops fired grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Two enemy attacks were launched on Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka.
Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in last day.
According to the intelligence, one militant was killed and another seven were wounded in last day.
