Militants launched 12 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day. Heavy weapons were not used.

“Russian-occupation troops fired on the defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Shchastia (23km north of Luhansk), Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Taramchuk (30km south-west of Donetsk), Berezove (35km south-west of Donetsk), Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk) and Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol),” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

The enemy used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire at Ukrainian troops.

Militants shelled Ukrainian stronghold near Shchastia, using automatic and mounted grenade launchers, for almost three hours. The enemy also fired at Ukrainian defenders outside Marinka and Lebedynske.

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported in last day. According to the intelligence, three militants were killed and another two were wounded in last day.

No attacks on Ukrainian troops have been launched today yet.
