Militants launched 39 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

“Over the past day, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Novomykhailivka (28km south-west of Donetsk), Travneve (51km north-east of Donetsk), Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk), Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Berezove (35km south-west of Donetsk), Zalizne (39km north of Donetsk), Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk),  and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

Russian-occupation troops fired grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. The enemy opened fire from 152mm artillery on Ukrainian positions near Novotoshkivske; 122mm artillery – near Vodiane; 120mm mortars – in the area of Luhanske, Hnutove and Lebedynske; 82mm mortars – outside Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Zolote and Novozvanivka, Luhanske, Novoluhanske and Vodiane. Defenders of Krymske and Novozvanivka came under fire from BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles. Militants also shelled JFO units outside Zolote, using anti-tank guided missiles.

One Ukrainian soldier was killed, two more were wounded in last day. According to the intelligence, three militants were killed and five more were wounded.

Today, militants have already launched two attacks on Ukrainian troops near Hnutove and Shyrokyne, using heavy machine guns and small arms.
