112 people killed in Donbas still not identified

The investigative units of the Security Service of Ukraine conduct 164 criminal proceedings over facts of killing of 2,204 military personnel and 793 civilians in the area of the armed hostilities in Donbas. Of this number, 75 military and 37 civilians are still unidentified.

"To date, according to the results of the investigation in 164 criminal cases over facts of killing of 2,024 military personnel and 793 civilians in the terrorist acts in the area of conduct of the anti-terrorist operation and the joint forces operation in eastern Ukraine... 75 soldiers and 37 civilians have been not identified yet," reads the response of the Security Service of Ukraine to the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Health Care.

The response of the Security Service of Ukraine refers to the data as of August 8.

At the same time, 1,949 military personnel and 756 civilians were identified as a result of the investigation into those criminal proceedings.
