Militants launched 32 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 32 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.

“Russian-occupation forces used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire on the defenders of Malynove (19km north-east of Luhansk), Shchastia (23km north of Luhansk), Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Orikhove (75km north of Luhansk), Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk), Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk),” the JFO Headquarters press center reported.

In addition, militants used 152mm artillery to shell the positions of the Joint Forces near Krymske and 120mm mortar – near Svitlodarsk.

One Ukrainian serviceman was killed, and two others were wounded in hostilities in last day. According to intelligence, three militants were killed.

Today, militants have already shelled Ukrainian troops three times outside Krymske, Lebedynske and Hnutove.
