Militants launched 28 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 28 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day. Heavy weapons were not used.

“Russian-occupation forces used weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire on the defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Zolote-4 (59km north-west of Luhansk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports. 

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported in last day. According to intelligence, two militants were killed, another three were wounded.

Today, militants have already shelled Ukrainian troops five times outside Vodiane, Krymske and Hnutove. In addition, illegal armed formations grossly violated the “school” ceasefire by firing artillery on Ukrainian troops near Krymske.
