Govnt allocates UAH 40 mln to State Emergency Service for defense capability

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 40 million to the State Emergency Service for measures to strengthen its defense capability.
The corresponding decree was published on the Governmental portal.
"To allocate UAH 40 million to the Internal Ministry (the State Emergency Service) for carrying out activities related to strengthening of the defense capacity of the state," the document reads.
The Government also instructed the Finance Ministry to carry out the above-mentioned expenses using the reserve fund of the state budget.
In addition, the Internal Ministry must submit a report on the use of funds allocated under this decree to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Finance Ministry and the State Treasury Service by December 25, 2018.
