Yatagan tank to be showcased at military parade in Kyiv

The T-84-120 Yatagan battle tank will be demonstrated during an Independence Day parade in Kyiv on August 24, the Ukroboronprom State Concern has said.
"The T-84-120 Yatagan is the main battle tank equipped with a 120mm gun in accordance with the standard adopted by NATO countries. This fighting vehicle will be demonstrated in Kyiv during the solemn events on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine," reads the report.
The Yatagan was developed at Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau, part of Ukroboronprom, and is an effective solution to integrate the North Atlantic Alliance's standards into Ukrainian armored vehicles. To solve this task, Kharkiv engineers developed from scratch a new charging mechanism that can work with quick-firing rounds according to NATO standards.
