Fifteen foreign partners to attend military parade on Independence Day of Ukraine – Poltorak

Fifteen foreign partners of Ukraine have confirmed their participation in the military parade and celebrations on the occasion of the Independence Day in Kyiv on August 24.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak said this at a briefing held on Tuesday during the rehearsal of the solemn parade to mark the Independence Day in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We invited our partners to participate in the parade, and 15 of our partners confirmed their arrival in Ukraine for the celebration of the Independence Day together with us. The overwhelming majority of them are the partner countries of the Alliance," Poltorak said.

As Ukrinform reported, the parade will be attended by 4,500 troops and 250 pieces of equipment.
