Militants launched 30 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 30 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine in last day. Heavy weapons weren’t used.

“Russian-occupation forces used mainly grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms on defenders of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Novomykhailivka (28km south-west of Donetsk), Novoselivka (66km south of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

Today, militants have already opened fire on Ukrainian troops near Krymske, Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk), Opytne and Pavlopol.
