Militants fired at OSCE’s unmanned aerial vehicle in Donbas

Illegal armed formations of ORDLO fired at an UAV of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Luhansk region.

This was stated in the latest report of the OSCE SMM.

"Machine gun rounds were fired in the direction of an SMM long-range unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). On the evening of July 18, an SMM long-range UAV spotted a PK machine gun (7.62mm) with one person behind it and three people around in the yard of a factory in Khrustalnyi (formerly Krasnyi Luch, non-government-controlled, 56km south-west of Luhansk) and recorded the machine gun opening fire towards the UAV. The UAV was not damaged," the report reads.

The OSCE SMM also recorded 266 explosions in Donbas.

Earlier, it was reported that illegal armed groups were actively increasing the number of heavy military equipment near the line of demarcation.
