Militants violated ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 19 times in last day

Militants launched 19 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

“Russian-occupation troops violated ceasefire regime 19 times, using the weapons banned under the Minsk peace accords once. Russian-occupation troops fired on defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Nevelske (18km north-west of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol),” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

The enemy also used 82mm mortars near Hnutove, launching three shells towards Ukrainian troops.

One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in shelling. According to the intelligence, two militants were wounded.

Today, the militants of Russian-occupation force have not opened fire yet.
