Ukraine is the second country after U.S. that spends the most on its security – Yatseniuk

Ukraine allocates funds for the defense and security sector more than most NATO countries.
The founder of the Open Ukraine Foundation, Arseniy Yatseniuk, said this during a discussion at the Kyiv Security Forum "What should we expect from NATO Summit 2018?" held on July 10.
"The Center for Strategic and International Studies has published statistics, according to which Ukraine is the second country in the world after the U.S. that spends the most on its defense in relation to the gross domestic product. So we can already be a NATO member according to this data," Yatseniuk emphasized.
He noted that a lot had been already done in joint cooperation with the NATO countries, many laws had been adopted, and many reforms had been carried out.
