Militants violated ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 25 times in last day

“Russian-occupation troops violated ceasefire regime 25 times, using heavy weapons two times,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In Luhansk direction, the enemy fired grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms near Shchastia (23km north of Luhansk), Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk) and Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk). Militants also launched provocative attacks on defenders of Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), using 82mm mortars. Ukrainian positions in the area of Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk) arc came under grenade launcher, heavy machine gun and small arms fire.

In Horlivka direction, Russian mercenaries opened fire from grenade launchers and heavy machine guns on Ukrainian troops outside Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), 120mm mortars – near Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), infantry fighting vehicles – outside Hladosove (51km north-east of Donetsk).

In Mariupol direction, the tense situation was observed in the area of Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), where the enemy tried to make Ukrainian defenders open fire by launching provocative attacks from heavy machine guns and small arms.

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported.
