Militants violated ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 24 times in last day

 “Russian-occupation troops violated ceasefire regime 24 times, using the weapons banned under the Minsk agreements four times,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In Luhansk direction, the tensest situation was in the area of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), where the enemy fired 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms on Ukrainian positions. The enemy activity was also observed near Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk) and Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk).

In Donetsk direction, militants launched attacks on Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Kruta Balka (16km north of Donetsk), using 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. The defenders of Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) and Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk) came under enemy fire.

In Mariupol direction, terrorists opened fire from grenade launchers of different types, heavy machine guns and small arms on Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk).

One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in fighting in last day.

“Today, Russian-backed militants have already launched two attacks on Ukrainian soldiers. In Luhansk direction, the enemy fired grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms on Ukrainian positions near Zolote. Positions near Lebedynske came under small arms and rocket anti-tank launcher fire,” the Headquarters reports.
