Militants violated ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 30 times in last day

Militants launched 30 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

 “Russian-occupation troops violated ceasefire regime 30 times, using artillery and mortars six times,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In Luhansk direction, the enemy launched provocative attacks on Ukrainian troops near Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk) and Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk), using artillery and small arms.

In Donetsk and Mariupol directions, the enemy scaled up its activities outside Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). In the night, militants launched provocative attacks mainly from small arms and automatic grenade launchers.

Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in fighting over the past day.

On the night of June 21, militants violated ceasefire six times along the contact line, using small arms. No casualties among Ukrainian troops have been reported. The situation remains under control of the joint forces.
