Government approves military-industrial complex development strategy until 2028

The relevant decision was made at a government meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The draft proposes to approve the military-industrial complex development strategy for the period until 2028. Also, to determine the direction of implementation of medium-term reforms of the defense industry of Ukraine and relevant legislation, which should be adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine," said First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv.

According to him, the implementation of the strategy will allow the state to begin the second stage of the military-industrial complex reform, which main tasks were determined in 2016-2017.
