Militants violated ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 36 times in last day

Militants launched 36 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day. 

This is reported by the press center of the JFO Headquarters.

"Over the past day, Russian-occupation forces violated the ceasefire regime 36 times, firing mortars and artillery on Ukrainian positions 12 times," the report reads.

As noted, the most active military operations took place near Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Novoselivka (66km south of Donetsk), Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Bohdanivka (41km south-west of Donetsk), Hranitne (57km south of Donetsk) and Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol).

The invaders continue to violate the norms of the international humanitarian law. Yesterday morning, they opened fire from 152mm guns and 120mm mortars on the town of Toretsk (43km north of Donetsk).

At 4:45, the enemy insidiously fired 152mm guns on the village of Stara Mykolayivka from the residential quarters of Horlivka.

According to intelligence, four militants were killed and five more were wounded in last day.
