Donetsk filtration station resumes its work

Donetsk water filtration station has been put into operation today.

The Ukrainian Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons reported this on Twitter.

"In the morning the staff brought the Donetsk filtration station into operation. The chlorine pipeline was repaired. The electricity supply is stable. The water supply will be resumed soon," the report reads.

As reported, the work of the Donetsk filtration station was suspended on May 17 due to shelling.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) reported that chlorine lines at the Donetsk filtration station were damaged due to shelling.
